I was watching Mike & Mike and Greeny kept saying Washington Something Else so I had to make one. The biggest question I see with a name change of any kind would the team keep the current logo and or the use of any images associated with Native Americans.
I would guess that any images that would remain would be and should be approved by a group of Native American representatives to avoid any kind of legal action in the future. I did a few concepts with the teams current circle with feathers logo changing out the center logo for a W for Washington or the rumored trademarked Warriors. I also did some with just a circle W. The bottom three feature a headdress just because I thought it was a cool look. I doubt that something like that would be approved for the Redskins but a team like the Chiefs with the proper blessing could be cool.
