I did these Mavs logos for the uniform design contest Cuban had last month. I wanted to bring the old look and the new look together. I started with the horse head logo. I changed the basketball to green, changed the grays and blues a few shades, and then I added some lines to the horse covering up the stupid M on his head and some of the other extra lines that just made the old logo busy/ugly.
I also came up with 4 new logos just incase the team didn’t want a classic and modern combo. The logos I created I took the new horse head logo and laid it into a D with an outline. This logo can be used by itself, in the Dallas script, or placed on the outline of the state of Texas.
